Under the Textile Heritage of India Module of Semester 3, this project started with an in-depth study of Pattachitra of Orissa and concluded in developemt of prints.

Pattachitra is one of the richest form of visual communication. Primarily based on the stories from Hindu mythology, this art is unique, vibrant and is a fine display of dexterous Indian craftsmanship at its best. This kind of artwork has a traditional appeal and is deeply connected with India values, customs and rituals
